Keep your eyes on Jesus

2 Corinthians 1:19      For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by me and Silas and Timothy, was not “Yes” and “No,” but in him it has always been “Yes.” For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.

As we move towards the end of the week, the US is on an election fever, Apple is announcing its new products and we are moving on to Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish new year on the 16th of September (evening).

While we still face many challenges in our lives, the Lord's promises never change. No matter how many promises God has made, they are 'Yes' in Christ.

Sometimes when the 'onslaught' of demands or challenges get too intense we tend to forget who we are in Christ. But do not worry because it is Christ who makes you stand firm. He who has anointed you has also put his seal of ownership on you. All you have to do is to remember Him and keep believing!

Surely goodness and mercy is hunting you down as you read this! So marvel at His love for you and REST from your own works. He will take care of you, your health, your baby, your blood pressure, your provision and whatever your needs may be. Because He is your good shepherd, You shall not be in want.
